BEACHES IN THE AREA

Adjacent to your cottage is the Whale Cove beach which is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Margaree Harbour and Chimney Corner are also nearby beaches that you are welcome to explore. Please be advised that they are unsupervised beaches and you will be responsible for your safety. Please inquire at the front desk for directions if needed. Whale Cove is a swimming beach and is available for guest use.

 

WALKING TRAILS

The hiking trails in the Highlands National Park are some of the most popular anywhere in Nova Scotia . The Sky Line Trail boasts the best views of the Cabot Trail and is very popular with all the guests and a common area for seeing moose and other wildlife.
